Do anybody know if a software raid key is needed for a 2 HDD raid 1 or 0, in a embedded raid controller ?

Yes you are right, what I was trying to say is that by default the software raid (embedded ) may supports raid 0,1 and 10 but you have to meet the hard disk requirements. For the c220 m3 server you don't required a key for raid 0 or raid 1, but you need to make sure you are using SATA drives, if you are using SAS drives then you need the key.

C220 M3.
I though for 2 HDD, only can be Raid 0 or Raid 1, so will not need the software license Key, right?
