Traffic Prioritization

I have a number of vnics create in UCS.  The traffic on some of them is more important than traffic on other of them. Can I assign priority to traffic on a given vnic in UCS over that on a different vnic?

In UCS, navigate to LAN > LAN Cloud > QoS System Class and you will see several classes available to you.  Enable and configure the classes you want to use.

Then navigate to LAN > Policies > root [> sub-organization] > QoS Policies.  Right-click and select Create QoS Policy.

Enter some name for the policy and select the priority (class) you want to use.

Then on the vNIC template, select the QoS policy you created.

For a finer level of granularity you would need to assign QoS within the physical switches or in the host operating system, if available.  For example, Microsoft Windows Server 2012 has the ability to create QoS policies for traffic on that host.  For traffic from multiple hosts, that would need to be done in the switch.
