FI model is Cisco UCS 6248UP 48-Port Fabric Interconnect after the initialization,When I prepare for config uplink, after config the uplink port. It turn out to be "SFP validation failed" phenomenon on the UCSM
Transceiver modules is GLC-SX-MM GE
I already adjust the speed of port to 1GE , but the error still there. and config the server port is allright
I try to change the port but it is still not working . and I confirm that the GLC-SX-MM is fine. According to datasheet of FI the transceiver is supported
Could any gorgeous answer my question? Thank you

http://jeffsaidso.com/2010/12/ucs-only-runs-at-10-ge-and-requires-nexus/
when you don’t set the right port speed, you will see an error of “SFP Validation Failed”
Please post the screenshot (GUI and CLI) of the port, also the port type.

GLC-SX-MM= |
1000BASE-SX SFP transceiver module for MMF, 850-nm wavelength, dual LC/PC connector |
according to
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/interfaces_modules/transceiver_modules/compatibility/matrix/GE_Tx_Matrix.html#_Toc483994158
it should work.
Are you sure its a Ethernet and not a FC port ?
