Just racked a new UCS - 5108 with four B200-M3 blades, configured up all the pools and policies. Whenever I apply a service profile to a blade, it gets stuck at 'Configuring SoL' in the FSM.. I've left it alone to come back and find it's retries at 15!
The service policy itself doesn't have an SoL policy/config.
Thought I'd post here to see if anyone else has had similar before hitting TAC..

Could you please tell me the FSM % this is getting stuck at?

93% every time. I've left it along long enough with some attempts for it to actually 'Fail' the FSM task and in turn fail the service-profile config.

I have never seen that and it looks like there are not too many records about this, or at least not so specific to that particular error message... can you check the links on the adapter and the backplane ports of the IOM and confirm they all are up?

Nope - all the ports are up. I think it's an issue with the s/w component that configures the SoL on the CIMC.

yeah, it may be a good idea to open a case with TAC for us to check the logs and see what is going on.

Well - I don't know what it was, but managed to resolve it by completely configuring a new service profile template from scratch and building new service profiles.

Cool, thanks for the feedback, I am pretty sure other users will appreciate it just like I do
