UCS C220 M3 - embedded LSI raid driver for VMWARE

Hello Guys, 

I've recently had to upgrade a UCS C220 M3 to 3.0.3.

During the upgrade it upgraded the embedded LSI Raid.

I'm able to build a raid with the new firmware and it is Online. Unfortunately the Virtual Drive is not recognised by VMWARE.

I've included the LSI driver into the VMWARE 5.5 iso but, it didn't work. 

The weird thing is before the upgrade the raid was seen by VMWARE...

Anyone could help on this case?

When you say embedded LSI Raid, are you referring to the software raid controller thats just part of the motherboard?

If so, VMware does not support software raid. You'll need to build the VD with a hardware raid controller.

Yes I see that it's not supported but apparently it used to be because it was working before the upgrade...

Somehow someone may have come up with a driver...
