UCS C220 M3 Memory Configurations

Just want to know is it possible to use 1 CPU with 2 X 16GB memory.

As on page 62 and 63 of "https://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/ps10265/ps10493/C220M3_SFF_SpecSheet.pdf"

It did not show such configuration

According to Table 33, this will work !

But it does not appear on the table 35 for support combination and also the table 34 does not include any combination for the 2600v2 memory

Hi Andrew,

You are correct, table 35 is a list of all the supported population configurations for this server. Table 34 is the list of DIMM configurations that will give you the best performance. In your case, 2X16g DIMMs with a single CPU won't be a supported configuration according to table 35.

Not the first time, that we have found errors in this documents; I would open a TAC case and/or wait for the TME / PM
