Hello,
UCS c240 rackmount server, CIMC upgrade failed & I've tried resetting CIMC to factory defaults by pressing F8( I see entering CIMC configuration utility) but it would redirect to Aptio utility. I tried power cycle and it didn't work out. I decommissioned the server and currently its not even discovered through UCSM.
Any thoughts?
All help greatly appreciated!

If the CIMC is in a partially upgraded or in a hung state, then that can definitely cause UCSM discovery issues.
You might want to try using crash cart physical KVM, manually set bios/CMOS to default via F2/setup.
If that works, setting up the CIMC in standalone, and see if you can re-attempt the firmware upgrade (would have to be via HUU iso), or could also role back the firmware for CIMC, via the firmware mgmt tab.
Might try using tool like rufus (https://rufus.ie/en/ ) and create a bootable USB thumb drive with the HUU firmware ISO, and see if you can get the firmware to complete via that method.
If all else fails, try https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/c/hw/C240M4/install/C240M4/replace.html#90646 and
