Hi guys. I'm setting up a new ucs server. It's a c240 m5. I've already configured cisco IMC but the challange is configuring the 2 lom data ports. When I go to chassis, inventory, network adapters, I can see the network adapter. However in the pci adapter tab, option rom status is showing as not loaded. I've already enabled all lom ports in bios.
Also when I go the the network menu, to try and configure the nics and create vnics, there is nothing there to configure. I'm attaching screenshots to explain better. I'm new to working on cisco servers.
It could be somthing very simple that I'm missing.
By the way the network guys gave me 3 ports configured as access mode. 1 will be for cimc andbthe other 2 for data. I've done cimc already without any issues.
Appreciate your expertise

Greetings.
The onboard Intel LOM ports are not managed, and are not CNAs like the Cisco VIC cards.
The onboard Intel LOM ports will be seen by the installed OS provided it contains a valid driver.
If you are expecting the ability to create vNICS then you will need a Cisco VIC card (i.e. vic 1457)
