Been meaning to ask this for ages as I can't find a reason online but this expires every year (or when the cluster name changes) I think we're all aware and there's a plethora of guides out there detailing how to regenerate it but what does it do?
When I started I found a lab UCS instance where it had expired for >6 months with no negative effects I could see so my question is, why is it a critical alarm (Intersight) or major in UCSM when it appears, on the surface at least, no impact to it expiring?
Also, does anyone know if it can be monitored from a certificate management system like Venify ?
Thanks,
