Hi,

I have one Cisco UCS chassis with two fabric extenders & one fabric interconnect.

Can we connect two fabric extenders (2208XP) with one fabric Interconnects?

Will this provide redundancy to the blade servers If one extender fails?

I know I am missing one fabric interconnect here but now I have only these components.

Hello Muhammad,

No, the fabric extenders may only be connected to a single FI. Redudancy can only be achieved with two Fabric Interconnects.

Can we install Windows Server OS directly on the blade server without VMware?

yes you can install the windows OS directly on the blade with no VMWare needed.
