Hi all,
quite sure answer is no.....
but i'll still try to make question .
id ti possible to dual boot from local hard disk?
I mean one profile with one OS (maybe ESX4.0) and other profile with another OS (ESX4.1)?
PS: i know that i can do it with san boot.....

The profile doesn't care and actually doesn't know what's on the disks. Disk contents don't follow profiles. You tell a profile to boot from disk and at that point it's up to the bootloader to take care of the rest. You could create multiple partitions and manually configure GRUB to propose two flavors of ESX at boot time.
