UCS Mini migrate from 6324 to 6332

I tried searching but I cannot find a clear answer on this. 

Can the UCS mini be converted from the 6324 IOM's to a 6332 via an online process? 

or can the config be backed up, the IOM's replaced, and then configs restored to a 6332?

Hello WyleeSA,

I think the second option is the best. You will need schedule a maintenance windows.

Before maintenance window

• Setup the new FI
• Cabling for LAN/SAN/MGMT
• Setup new UPlinks for lan and SAN
• restore the backup (All configuration)

On maintenance windows

• Remove the old FI
• put new IOM
• cable IOM to FI
• Configure FI port to Server

At this moment UCS Manager will detect your chassi and servers. Now just reapply yours profiles to your servers.

Thanks that is what I was thinking that helps a lot.

I am also letting mgmt know the UCS mini is very exanable with the 6324's as is, so the need o upgrade the FI is unlikely anyhow.
