Hu guys,
yesterday my ucs mini update ends disruptive for the customer.
i was update (auto installer) from 3.0(2C) to the Infrastructure Bundle 3.1.2b
after the UCS Manager Upgrade the auto installer boots both fabric Interconnect and all connections to the blade sever
were interrupted for 10-15 Minutes. During the interruption i looked at the fabric interconnects and both are down.
After both were successfully restarted, the autoinstaller went on as usual and hold with user acknowledgment of the primary fabric Interconnect.
Does someone knows the problem.
Is this a bug.
I´ve read the release notes from the 3.1 version and i could not see something about that maybe the installed release (3.02C) is not supported for an upgrade to 3.1x.
Thanks and regards
Chris

Hallo Christian
3.0.2c was a UCS mini specific release; 3.1.2b is a merged release ! but this should not matter.
Open a TAC case.
And as a advice, I would always open a TAC case before the upgrade, and ask for a impact analysis. Therefore avoid exaxtly this nasty events.
Walter.
