Where is the UCS Performance Manager Product Key?
I have installed the Perf Manager virtual appliance for a PoC with a customer and got as far as 'Getting Started' where it asks for a product key.
We have a 90 day trial license generated from a PAK, but this seems to be of little use at this point.
I'm sure the answer is simple, but the help usual source of help (Google) seems blank on this one. Is it just me?

You’ll need a free eval license to run it to try it out, so talk to your Cisco account manager to get one of these licenses.

Hi Walter. Thanks for the reply. I had seen Vallard's blog, but he didn't say where he got the key. I assumed that after going to the trouble of ordering the FoC 90 day trial license, I would have all that was required. I'm now baffled as to what this license file is for. I'll go and speak to the Cisco account manager.

Hi
I can only guess; as this product is actually a Zenoss OEM, the usual Cisco license procedure might not apply, namely get a PAK, and then register and receive a license file, which is then installed.
It rather looks like you will get a license key (=/ PAK) which you have to enter:

Hi Walter,
can you please tell me if the licensing is per instance of Performance manager (1 license to manage an entire UCS infrastructure composed by multiple domains?) or per monitored server (in this case blades)?
The literature is at a minimum vague: I've managed to get the part-numbers for UCS Perfmon, but none of them specify number of managed servers.
UCS Performance Manager - UCS-PM-IE
UCS Performance Manager express UCS-PM-EE (1/3 price)
thanks
Gustavo
