I'd like to be able to manage my UCS S3260 (and installed M3 server) from UCS Manager with the rest of my UCS chasses and servers. Currently, this is not working, so I am just using the S3260's CIMC web GUI.
UCS S3260 firmware currently installed:
- BMC1: 3.0(3a)
- BIOS1: C3X60M3.3.0.3a.0.0315171955
- CMC1: 3.0(3a)
- SASEXP1: 04.08.01_B076
- SASEXP2: 04.08.01_B076
- (Server 1) Cisco RAID controller for UCS C3X60: 24.12.1-0110
- ADAPTER-1: 4.1(3a)
Cisco UCS Manager firmware currently installed:
- UCS Manager Service Pack: 3.2(1)SP0(Default)
- UCS Manager System: 3.2(1d)
- Two 5108 Blade Chassis I/O modules: 3.2(1.b)
- Both Fabric Interconnects (UCS 6248UP):
- Kernel: 5.0(3)N2(3.21b)
- Service Pack: 3.2(1)SP0(Default)
- System: 5.0(3)N2(3.21b)
Is there a viable, documented upgrade path or steps I need to follow before UCS Manger will let me manage the S3260 and its M3 server? Does anyone see any hardware limitations or insurmountable compatibility issues with this configuration that would prevent integrating the S3260 into UCS Manager?
