UCS Service Profile - Hard Drives

I currently have a C-series server with 2 hard drives that I have configured in a RAID 1 by using a service profile. If I had additional hard drives in the futures how will they be handled by the service profile? Will it try to add it to the inital RAID1, create a separate RAID1 volume or will the new drives not be configured at all?  Thanks
