Is it possible to power off the UCS if the temperature sensor reading exceeds a certain value?
Can I power off the UCS remotely?

Steve,
No. The thresholds are not configurable. This ensures we can set the thresholds according to manufacturing specs to ensure the HW is always protected.

Hello Steve,
UCSM will not auto shutdown the blades and it is left to CPUs to control the action based on inbuilt thermal characteristics.
You can remotely power down blades using IPMI commands.

Thanks. I will do some reasearch on the IPMI commands.
