UCS Tintri to FI Fiber "SFP validation error"

Hello,

Most of the information is in the title. I have connected the Tintri device with the sfps that came with it, and tried SFP-10-SR-S, DS-SFP-FC8G-SW, DS-SFP-FC16G-SW= on the end that is connected to the FI. I added the VLAN to both LAN->LAN Cloud->VLANs and LAN->Appliances->VLANs.

Went to the port and Reconfigure->Configure as Appliance port->Priority = Platinum and Best Effort. Tried both 1GBps and 10 Gbps, Trunk, added the vlan and selected ok, I will get an error "ether port 1/17 on fabric interconnect A oper state: failed, reason: SFP validation failed".

Did I miss a configuration on my end, or does this have something to do with the Tintri device not communicating back the SFP on it's end?

Doing a quick search  on Tintri devices/appliances, the only spec sheet I could find listed all ethernet based connectivity (10GBASE-T,  2 x 100GbE or 2 x 40GbE or 2 x 25GbEd or 4 x 10GbEef or 2 x 10GbE )

This excludes the storage FC SPFs (SFP-FC8G-SW, DS-SFP-FC16G-SW=) that aren't Ethernet based.

You need to confirm the specs of the Tintri supplied SFPs.

It is expected to get validation failed on non-UCS/Cisco supplied SFPs.
