I am working on a project to stand-up a single UCS chassis, with interconnects (6120s) for a small virtualization project. The site has generator backup, so I only need to enough standby battery for the transfer between lost of power and generator. Looking through the APC catalog; I see lots of options but was wondering what people have done or doing. I am okay with doing two (2) small UPS units and spliting the sources. I am trying to maintain a single cabinet; which will house the UCS, interconnects, ethernet switch, small ASA and small NetApp array.
Ideas or suggestions?
Thanks
John
