UCSM Intergation and C-Series Disk Mirroring

Our UCSM managed C240's have multiple disks. Can we do the following:

1) Create a RAID 1 LUN for OS

2) Create a RAID 5 with the remainder of the disks for data

Can this be done with a policy in UCSM? We have single-wire management configured.

You can do this but the server needs to be in standalone mode first, then during post you can access WebBIOS (Ctrl+H depending on which controller you have) or if your server is running  1.5 CIMC firmware, then you can do that from CIMC without having to reboot to enter anywhere else.

Bottom line, that can be done but not through UCSM.
