UCSPE Activation failed.

Hi, 

I am new to UCS and have installed UCSPE 3.1.1e in VMWare Workstation.

The default install has a lot of devices in the configuration so to simplify things for myself i have removed most leaving 2 FI's, 1 Chassis and 8 blades. 

When I login to UCSM the chassis has 2 major errors saying that "Activation failed and Activate Status set to failed."

Is there something else I neet to do in the UCS controll panel to clear these errors?

Can you screen capture those errors and share?

Typically this is due to some component that needs to be re-upgraded/activated.

Can you confirm the component that it is complaining about?

It looks like it could be the IOM. I would just re-activate the firmware to the correct version and it should clear those faults.

Equipment > Firmware Management > Installed Firmware > Right Click on IOM > Activate w/Force checked

It is the IOM that its complaining about.

When I activate the FW it disen't seem to do anything, activation status is still failed.
