We have a blade server UCS with firmware 2.2, don’t ask how it happened.
We want to upgrade to 4.x, what is the best and correct way for us to do it?
It is possible to update to a version where you can enter the UСS manager not through Java, but through the web GUI.
We have firmware 4.0, 4.1, 4.2

Can you clarify what exactly is running 2.2?
UCS/FIs, or a blade itself?

If the UCSM is still on 2.2, and you don't want to get a guestVM with Java setup, you can upgrade the UCSM via cli.
