There are specific HUU install guides, and these do reference minimum existing CIMC and BIOS version requirements.
There does not appear to be a 2.0(9) version guide posted yet, but 2.0(6) references 2.0(3i) bios and CIMC versions which would seem to infer that 2.0(3i) is a required step along the path to 2.0(9).
The 2.03 HUU guide (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/c/sw/lomug/2-0-x/b_huu_2_0_3/b_huu_2_0_3_chapter_010.html) list 1.5(4e) as minimum requirement.
So it appears you may want to hit 1.5(4e) and 2.03i first, before jumping up to 2.0(9) range.
Thanks,
Kirk

You can upgrade directly to 2.0(9) from 2.0(3i).
The HUU upgrade guides should be published 'shortly' for the versions above 2.0(6).
Thanks,
Kirk..
