Using IMC Supervisor for firmware upgrades

Does the firmware update immediately reboot the server or just update the firmware partition?  If so does IMC supervisor provide any warnings?  Will it update all components such as the VIC, RAID controller, etc. 

The management guide is a bit lacking on what will happen.

I have also tried to upgrade some Blade C220M4 units and I am unable to even get it to work. I have tried:

1. Local HTTP

2. CIFS (This just shows up with Mount Failed)

I agree the documentation is really lacking on this subject.

My customer is going though an eval with IMCS now and we did a test.  The server will in fact reboot, so it's not a pending operation or anything like that.

We tested two servers.  The first one had a successful fimrware update.  The other hung and was unresponsive via cimc/imcs.  Someone on the floor had to manually power on/off to get it back up.  Afterwards it was ok.
