v3 E5-2600 CPU in C240M4S

Hi,

Can anyone please advise if the E5-2637D (v3) CPU is supported for use in a C240 M4S (assuming 2133MHz memory)?

The datasheet for the C240 M4S doesn't list it, but does list the E5-2637E (v4), which requires 2400MHz memory to get the full bus speed.

I'm looking to repurpose two C240 M4S servers with 2133MHz memory and would like to reuse some existing E5-2637D (v3) CPUs I have in some B200 M4 servers, if I can.

Definitely not supported.

Will it work?  Maybe.  Not sure if the capability catalog built into the CIMC will have an entry for a blade based CPU.  May have other issues like cooling profile, etc.
