Hi
I know this question has been asked probably before but we are trying to reconfigure an existing UCS setup originally connected to fibre fabric to use iSCSI boot LUNs
we have done 99% of the configuration but as this is a B200-M4 using the VIC 1340 mezzanine card we have the issue
VIC1340/1380 with wrong vNIC and vHBA placement order CSCut78943
So forgive our ignorance with the setup
So we basically have two ethernet connections to our core network and two iSCSI NICs plus two vHBAs in the service profile template for boot from iSCSI - we have placed all the vNICS and vHBAs on vCON 1 as there is a single adapter and set admin port to 1 on ethernet and vHBAs with iSCSI on admin port 2
We want to boot from the iSCSI vNICs and access existing fibre connected datastores on the servers configured as ESXi 6.7 hosts for the migration of VMs
Can any one guide us on the correct config?
