VSAN's

As we know there are many ways to create and connect to an upstream VSAN. And finding a best practice is ahrd to find so I am asking the question here. I will use the simple example of booting from SAN.

The 2 scenarios:

1) Create separate VSAN's mapped to each Fabric........

2) Create a "Common/Global" VSAN........

What is the preferred and/or best practice.....

Thanks

Hi Terry,

It completely depends upon your storage fabric design. As a best practise it is good to have two separate VSANs and define only the required VSAN on the required fabric switched including the UCS FI.
