While there have been a number of updates to the UCSPE since Christopher Wahl produced these videos, they are a great walk through. Chris shows you fundamentals and a few limitations of using a virtual appliance. If you are curious about Cisco UCS, the platform emulator is great way to learn that doesn’t cost you anything. If you are already running UCS, this can be just like having your own private test environment.
Just a minor clarification: FSM stands for Finite State Machine, not Fault State Monitor.
