Preventive Maintenance Cisco Server UCS 220

Hello Community

I got 2 cisco servers ucs 220 they are up and running, What I need is information about preventive maintenance process that must be perform, how often and the steps to follow, this is bacuse we are under an audit process and the auditor is asking us for this information. I already took a look into the documentation but I couldn´t find anything. I already called CISCO but they suggested me to post my need here.

Preventive Maintenance requirement under standard:

"Define and implement procedures to ensure timely maintenance of infrastructure to reduce the frequency and impact of failures or performance degradation."

So it's up to you to define the interval.

Firmware upgrade is preventive maintenance too, so you shouldn't monitor/review based on MTBF.

I would pick 6-12 months if I'd be in your shoes.
