VP Optimisation Sets

Hi,

In our pre-prod UCS environment, we have added a new vlan 173, but i can't seem to find any info on how to get it into one of the existing VP Optimisation sets. All the other vlans already belong to one set or another, so how do we get this new one added to one?

i can't find any info on how this is done, or the reasons why it can't be done.

I just tested this in the lab, and the VLANs I created after enabling optimization were automatically inserted into one of the optimization sets.

What FI model and code are currently on?

Hi Kirk, 

We are using 4.0(4l) and running 6332, ive just had a check and found that the vlan is now in one of the sets. I don't know if we were just impatient, or that a colleague managed to get it in.

how long should it take to get inserted normally? is it instant or does it take a bit of time?

Also, it wasnt until we added the vlan to a vnic template that it popped into a set.
