Thanks, that did it. I was trying to put the IVR leg for VoIP inbound on a pots like like a normal VoIP call.

I am using 122-15.T14 on a 5300 and it works fine for me. can you give a command output that shows it 'not working' like a debug output.

Yea, if you would have looked at the post it shows I have set up almost exactly the same as that and other docs. The problem wasn't finding an ambiguous link it was finding out why it is failing.

So you are saying it has to be different for *every* call? That would mean only 100 possible combinations. Or are you saying you need it to be different than the previous call?Are you supplying the ANI through voice port/dial-peer commands?

It is called hairpinning, and it is not supported on 5X etc voice gateways. It is only newly supported on some (3-4) models of 3XXX series routers.Without that solution crossing over voice ports is the only other way using cisco gear.Here is a write...
