which product did you move onto? ridiculous it can only support 1080p even though there are resources to support higher resolutions.

i think this is supported now in ios-xe 17.2.1r https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/ios/config/17-x/lan-wan/b-lan-wan/m_wan-l2-tun-pro-v3-xe.html Which version did you try it on?

I did catch that part in the output of that page, but can anybody confirm if this output with their own C8300 and C-SM-16P4M2X?
