A good way to do this is use wildcard certs. You use one cert for the entire domain instead of one per server. this will save you money and administration when certs expire. I use a wildcard cert from godaddy and have it for everything external

Like Jaime said , yes you can wait. Any reason you would want to wait? CUP server is most likely the easiest build to accomplish. Now with 10.5 the integration is even tighter with more CUP administration done on CUCM.
