I realize this is an old ticket but 7.5.5 fixes the issues and Distinctive ring still works for those who care. Many other versions break Distinctive ring but fix LDAP.

Thanks your note about using IP Address helped me. I can't use the DNS name but IP Address works fine. This started with the upgrade to UCCX 10.5(1) SU1 but it may very well exist in 10.5(1) as well.

I had the same problem also. Ruud van Strijp is correct. You have to enable Cisco Unified Mobile Communicator on the BOT or TCT device. This worked for me.
