Excellent, that worked :) but strange thing, that login screen text was so shrunk/small, that I could not even see username when trying to login using I.E 8x! but after successful login, the text size turned back to normal.

I have similar problem with CUPC user, except that user who is establishing vpn to CUCM do not hear any audio from other party at all! He has this issue only when he vpn, while he can work normally via LAN connection.

make sure telnet_level in your tftp config file is set to "1" or "2", not zero. Unfortunately you need a TFTP server, this isn't something you can set through the phone interface.(Create a file called "SIPDefault.cnf" , or "SIP" mac_address_of_phone ...
