Hi All ,
How to verify a URL after adding the networks to the split tunnel from the end client . I have verified by seeing the routes in the end client . Is there any other way to check from traceroute or route print .
route print looks the same for all websites . What would be difference we need to observe .
Thanks in advance ,

Hi,
I will be connecting a Router LAN port to a trunk port in a switch. The trunk will carry VLAN 320 and VLAN 1, which will be untagged. The management network is carried in VLAN 1. If I have to configure the IP of VLAN 1 in Router, should I configure it in the main interface (with VLAN 320 IP in the sub interface .320 with dot1q encap)?

Yes, the reason I am considering a secondary ip address is the core switch is managed by a 3rd Party and we cant get them to add the new VLAN immediately.

Hi Reza,
The subinterface which is already there in the Router is Gig 0/0.310 configured with encapsulation dot1q 310. I cannot assign the same vlan id to another sub interface.

Hi,
I have a setup, in which two servers need to communicate with a Router in a VLAN Segment. The challenge is that we have created a sub interface in the LAN interface of the Router with encapsulation dot1q 310 with IP address 192.168.10.1/24. The servers are in a different IP range (10.250.14.9 and 10). The Router connects to Gig 1/4 in the core switch (managed by a 3rd party) and the servers connect to Gig 1/2 and Gig 1/3 in the same core switch which are assigned to VLAN 310.
Now if I configure a secondary IP address in the LAN sub interface of the Router with IP 10.250.14.1, can I establish connectivity between the Servers and Routers?
Also, can I advertise the secondary IP subnet in BGP, to the WAN?
Thanks for your time.

Hi,
One of our customer has ordered an Ethernet WAN circuit for MPLS access. The access circuit is an aggregate Ethernet circuit on the Provider side, meaning a single trunk carries traffic of multiple customers, with each customer assigned a VLAN. As per the carrier, the VLAN tagging that should be set on the WAN interface is 2980 (encapsulation dot1q 2980). This is configured on the CE side as well as the PE side. However, the last mile supplier whose switch the WAN interface is connecting, is saying their switch port is configured as an access port and what VLAN is configured does not matter. If the access supplier switch is configured as an access port with a different VLAN (not 2980), will the VLAN tagging be sent across end to end?
Thanks for your time

A customer is facing the issue of very slow Internet access, established through a WAN Router (PAT with Outside Interface IP for outbound traffic, Static NAT from Zscalar Public address to Zscalar Local address for Inbound traffic). No issues in connectivity/ speed if Laptop is directly connected to ISP Router and using Public IP of WAN Router.
If I do a ' debug ip nat detail' in the WAN Router, I am seeing the following error recurring at regular intervals.
*Apr 12 20:18:56.782: NAT: API Failed to get Translated-Info from: (src-addr:10.97.112.38, src-port:0) (dest-addr:10.192.168.41, dest-port:0)
Any idea what does this indicate?
Many thanks for your time.

Hi all, We have a IP Contact Center setup. The calls taken the agents are recorded in a Verint Recorder Server which is in the same LAN (in a different VLAN). The customer is facing the issue of poor voice quality while the recorded calls are played back. Verint is telling its the issue of RTP packets missing/ dropped as they are sent for recording (from the IP Phones). Apparently the LAN looks healthy (Interface utilisation, Speed/ Duplex Settings, Input errors, CPU utilisation all checked and look okay). The IP Phones are connected to a 3750X stack which has a 10G uplink to the core switch. The Recorders are connected to a 4948 server switch which again has a 10G uplink to the core switch. Any clues on how to troubleshoot this problem. Many thanks for your support. Gnanavel.

Hi, We have a customer MPLS network in which IPSEC/ GRE tunnels are established between CE routers of two locations. The WAN link is a 6 Mbps Ethernet link. All the outbound and inbound traffic is sent through the same tunnel interface. While the peak output rate (show interface) shown in the physical interface is close to 6Mbps, its always about 500-800K less (around 4.9 to 5.2M) in the tunnel interface. Customer wants to know why there is BW capping in the tunnel interface. Do we have a technical explanation for the difference in displayed output rate, between the physical and tunnel interfaces? Thanks Gnanavel.

Hi, Can someone share (if available) the documentation for the debug command 'debug voip rtp' ? Facing an issue with inbound voice call from gateway. Once the user picks up the extension, its only blank and the call disconnects after a few secs. The destination is Avaya CM 3.x. There is no issue for outbound calls. The output of 'debug voip rtp' for the inbound call and outbound apparently seem to be same. If we can interpret the debug output in a correct way, it might help troubleshooting. Regards Gnanavel.

Dear all, I have a setup in which inbound calls from a service provider PRI coming into the Cisco 2800 voice gateway needs to be routed to a AVAYA CM - the outbound call leg is VoIP. Calls made to the PRI land in the router with a DNIS (Called number) of 8130. The outbound dial peer is selected by the destination pattern 8130 command configured in the voip dial peer 888. The session target is the Avaya CM 172.25.16.8. Direct inward dial is configured in the POTS dial peer mapped to the PRI interface (E1 1/0/0). Inbound calls, after getting routed via the outbound voip dial peer seem to fail with a cause code of 34. It should be noted that outbound calls work fine in the opposite direction, i.e, made from Avaya CM and go out through the service provider PRI terminated in the gateway. I have attached the debug of 'voip dial peer', ccapi inout and h225.Any clue what is making the call fail? Thanks for your time and inputs. Regards Gnanavel.

Hi Deval/ Paolo, Thank you so much for your suggestion. I will try this out. Any idea where to get the complete Voice translation rule syntax? The voice translation document we get after we do a search in Cisco website doesn't have complete syntax, for e.g pattern '//' and 'X' which you have used in rule 2 are not there in the document. Regards Gnanavel.
