This seems like it should be simple, so I'm probably missing something basic.ISR 4351 Router running 17.6 firmware. We're using auto register to connect 8851 phones. Everything is fine except for one little problem. The preferred codec keeps showing ...
I'm auto-registering SIP phones to CME. There hasn't been any problem getting phones to register but the name on the phone is always AUTO-REG. I tried adding a Name and Label to the voice register dn, but it didn't help. Is there a way to force it to...
When I boot up the phone it gets it's ipv6 address then I see this. 009593: Jan 15 14:43:07.308: TFTP: Looking for CTLSEPC0626B639254.tlv009594: Jan 15 14:43:07.429: TFTP: Looking for ITLSEPC0626B639254.tlv009595: Jan 15 14:43:07.551: TFTP: Looking f...
This seems like it should be fairly straight forward. CUCM 11.5 using auto-register for phones so we can just plug them in and go. That part works fine, they download firmware, get a DN and are usable. I'm looking for a way to use auto-register to as...

I use a voice codec for the Dial-Peers as follows.Voice class codec 1Codec preference 1 g729r8I've not found anyplace to put a voice codec in the register pool or a template for the register pool. The phones connect to a switch that connects to the r...

It looks like that phone had been previously registered with a ccm. Erased the ITL and now the phone successfully downloads the XMLDefault.cnf.xml file. Downside is it just keeps doing that over and over. But hey, progressing bit by bit. Edit: So I n...
I'm getting more curious. The configuration has worked previously on 29XX routers, but this is a 4351 so there might be some changes.Show telephony-service tftp-bindings shows 'tftp-server system:/its/vrf1/XMLDefault.cnf.xml alias XMLDefault.cnf.xml....
