I managed to get it working by downgrading CE to 8.2, and then converting to Android. After that I just upgraded to later release available from my UCM.
The exact version is 2.0.1.918.B-AE. It's a fairly same deployment, a single WMS and IRP VMs and licenced for 50 users. There's no HA in my environment.
