I noticed your link to the 3850 material is broken. Do you know if the archive download-sw command is still valid or has it been deprecated in the newer switches? It was such a great way of upgrading stacks, I'd hate to see it go away.

So the correct answer is that the WLC was not connected to the anchor...that's why it was giving me licensing grief...The Anchor was down and needed a reboot.
