David is correct. Emails will never turn on MWI. MWI only signafies that you have a new voice mail. I am not sure why you would want MWI to turn on for an Email. Sounds like it would be very confusing.

So in Unity Connection you can import the users from CUCM via Axl, so that is why you would have to change that password on UC. For Unity the users are only allowed to be imported from Active Directory so we do not have a tie in to CUCM like UC can....
