I was wondering if it's possible to block an outside number from the CCM config. We're getting some phone spam from Macy's Bloomingdale and Bell wants us to by an extra package to block this number. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using MGCP or H.323 to the GW? With the latter is possible to use a translation-rule to reject the call based on clid.

Hi there,
Create a partion called "block-spam-call"
Just use a translation pattern on CCM to point the ANI (spammer's phone) to above created partition. and it won't be able to go anywhere.
Alternately just create as other fellow advised a route pattern and block it.
cheers

If it is a specific number you can do a:
voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 reject /number with area code/
and then use that rule for your specific dial peer.
