Hello Experts,
We are planning to purchase a SIP circuit, and I do not have a free Gig port my Voice router, and I was suggested to have this SIP circuit from the vendor getting terminated on a Cisco switch port.
Is it technically possible to terminate a SIP circuit on the switch port, where the rest of the dial-peer, SIP related configurations are on the router?
We have a firewall in between the core switch and the router. Any leads on this topic are much appreciated.
