Hi,

I am trying to fix a problem with Cisco ASR 1002-X. The client is not giving me proper feedback and I had to find it by myself. When I turn on the Router it gives me some errors and messages, I tried to to go to ROMmon mode by pressing Ctrl + Break but it prompts me to Factory Reset and even the factory reset does not work saying it could not boot the image. I am using console cable to directly access the router. here is the text from putty

Contact Cisco TAC and get the router RMA-ed.

my supervisor told me we may not be able to replace it. I searched on google a lot and couldn't find any solution. I have years of experience in using simulations but am new to physical devices. even a clue to where I may be able to find a solution is greatly appreciated

Pop the lid.

Clean the Flash and DRAM.

Make sure they are secured in their cradle.
