Clear Channel Transparent CCS over GRE IP Sec tunnel

We have 6 offices that are interconnected via GRE over IPSec. Each office has NEC PBX which requires to be tunneled (transmitted transparently) across the WAN between PBXs. In common practice, it can be done over IP/Frame/ATM. But please confirm if it can be done over GRE IPSec VPN.

Hi Andy,

We currently support voip calls thorugh GRE tunnel. I dont see why we there woould be a problem having connection trunk through GRE..You need to make sure proper QOS is in place when going through GRE.

Hopefully the GRE IPSec (transport mode) is not going to affect the signalling channel that is required to transport transparently (clear codec).
