Here you can find a table which can give you the idea of bandwidth usage in different Codecs.
you would be surprised when you see how you can play with parameters to adjust your bandwidth usage. like for G729 (high quality voice) regularly you need 16 Kbit bandwidth ( 8Kbit send / 8 kbit receive), but with changing some parameters you can save the bandwidth and use 10Kbit instead of 16Kbit !!!

Codec send/Receive
G729R8 --> 8K / 8K (16K)
G723R63 --> 6.3K / 6.3K (12.6K)
G723.53 --> 5.3K / 5.3K (10.6K)

g.723 5.3 kbps & 6.3 kbps
g.729 8 kbps
is the case if you are using the cisco product at both side other wise it can vary depending upon the product
As i am sure that on Quintum Tenor A800 for any codect they uses 12.XX kbps
