Hi,
I would like to know if there is any way to overide the station caller ID and replace it with one common caller ID. Currently if a user such as Jack places an outgoing call, his caller ID is:
Jack London
613-555-5555
If Jill makes a call its:
Jill Morden
613-555-5555
I would like it to say:
ACME Corporation
613-555-5555
for all calls to the PSTN. Internally of course I want to retain the station ID so if Jack calls Jill it should say Jack and vice versa. Is there a setting in call Manager? Mayby an option on the gateway router? I am running CallManager 6.1.4.2190-3 and my gateway router is a 3825 running Version 12.4(24)T.

The only way i know of is to contact the LEC and have the local donar switch updated with the information.

Update:
We played around with the ID options and if you change just the ASCII Alerting Name to the company name under the Line properties, internal calls still show the name and external show the company name. Not sure why, maybe someone can shed some light on this.
