Decoding VoIP VSAs strings

Hi,

I have looked at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/voice/cdr/developer/guide/cdrdefs.html, I found the possible values for atribute “gw-rxd-cgn”, but not the meaning of them.

Example:

Cisco-AVPair = "gw-rxd-cgn=ton:0,npi:0,pi:1,si:0,#:391450098"

Cisco-AVPair = "gw-rxd-cgn=ton:0,npi:0,pi:0,si:0,#:391450098"

I think pi:1 means that the calling number is anonymous and pi:0 is present, but they can also be 2 or 3. Where can I found information to decode this string and other VSAs strings?

Thanks,

David Costa

Hi,

I found something on http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3/vvf_c/cisco_ios_isdn_voice_configuration_guide/isdn.pdf, but isn’t conclusive. The range isn’t all mapped and I need to know if is used the ISDN or the GTD values.

For example “gw-final-xlated-cgn” can have the values:” ton:d, npi:aa,pi:b,si:c,#:e” where:”d = 0–7,aa = 0–15,b = 0–3,c = 0–3,e = number in E164 format” and on the document I only found:

ISDN Numbering Plan Identification       GTD Numbering Plan Indicator (npi)

0—Unknown                                                    u—Unknown

1—ISDN telephony numbering plan                1—ISDN numbering plan

2—Telephony numbering plan                        1—ISDN numbering plan (best fit)

3—Data numbering plan                                  2—Data numbering plan

4—Telex numbering plan                                3—Telex numbering plan

8—National standard numbering plan            5—National numbering plan

9—Private numbering plan                             4—Private numbering plan

ISDN Presentation Indicator                                      GTD Presentation Indicator (pi)

                                                                               u—Unknown

0— Presentation allowed                                           y—Presentation allowed

1—Presentation restricted                                         n—Presentation not allowed

2—Number not available due to interworking           0—Address not available

ISDN Screening Indicator                                 GTD Screening Indicator (si)

                                                                      u—Unknown

0— User-provided, not screened                       1—User-provided, not screened

1—User-provided, verified and passed             2—User-provided screening passed

2—User-provided, verified and failed                3—User-provided screening failed

Thanks,

David
