Hi All,

I am quite new with this equipment so I don't really know who is doing what in this scenario.

I have a quite difficult question from my point of view. Because I have search the net to and from all sides but have not find the answer. We have a customer who is complaining about dropped calls after 6 hours, can you belive that. 6 hours, well well. Is there anyway to find where to change this parameter or does anyone have a clue how to. Or is it just that simple that the equipment is "default" dropping the calls after 6 hours have gone by and there is no way to change it. Please, can someone give me a correct answer on my question.

Check if in dialplan config of the PGW there is a resulset with option "CALL_CUTOFF_TIMER".
This option enables the call cut off feature after a determined minutes.

See attached.

Hi Daniele

Thanks for sharing this info.

Roland, Indeed the Call CutOff Timer is what you are looking for. For more details on this parameter refer this link

You can configure it globally in the XECfgParm.dat, here is the value of PGW.

    *.CallCutoffTimer = 0    # (0 value disables the timer)
    *.CallCutoffTimerUnits =                        0
