Extension Mobility Cross Cluster(EMCC) on Call Manager Express

Hey,

I am working for a client who want to have Extension Mobility on two differents location. EMCC seems to be the perfect solution but I have a problem.

My client has only 2 Routers 2811/CME (And doesn't want to buy a CUCM) and i can't find any information about EMCC on CME.

I am pretty sure it doesn't handle it but i want to be sure.

Is EMCC works on CME or not at all? If not, is there any solution to do the same feature?

And to answer your question, EMCC requires CUCM. There's nothing similar for CME.

You cannot do cross-system with CME, but you can emulate it, at least in theory.

Configure the same EM DN and credentials on both systems.

Configure a less specific, or lower precedence dial-peer on both CMEs to reach the EM extensions. That should make the call go to the eother system if the EM DN is not loggend on the local CME.
