FXS need PVDM?

Dear All,

Is it a must FXS need PVDM for performance enhancement?

Is PVDM need for digital voice card only, such as voice E1/T1 module? Am I right?

the FXS port is the voice port interface. The PVDM is the DSP module that takes the audio and packetises the bit stream. It doesn't matter if the voice port is analogue or digital, you still need the PVDM
